Set up and center all the tables and chairs according to the floor plan in Lightspeed. Make sure they are clean (including the foot of the tables). Check the chairs and clean if needed. Refill the Boker Tov mug with the small napkins, logo facing forward.
The terras is closed at night with chains. In the morning, you take the key, and nicely put the furniture in it’s place according to the floorplan on lightspeed.
Once all chairs, tables and cushions are in it’s place, clean the tables and put the plants and/ or Boker Tov mugs on the tables (logo facing forward).
Zuid + Markgrave:
The toilets and bathroom are cleaned by the cleaning company. But please check if everything is clean, and refill the . Starting with the door knobs working your way to the toilet seat. Check the trash bin, and empty it. Refill the paper towels and toilet paper if needed.
Eilandje:
The sanitair in Boker Tov eilandje is inside the fitness. We’re not responsible for those but, if you go yourself, and something is missing, like toilet paper, please inform the fitness staff to refill.
Set up the bar and prep all condiments needed for service. Cut and dry fruit if needed. Set-up some nuts and olives to go with the drinks. And check if all surfaces are clean.
Check if there's enough pickled veggies, kombucha, limonana, iced tea and tahini brownie and refill if needed.
The coffee machine should be cleaned at night and left on. So it‘s ready for use when you enter the restaurant.
Switch on and fill the bean grinder. It’s better to have it filled up during the service for the pressure. And make sure everything is ready for use:
4 Clean towels (for the pistols, steamer and other surfaces)
Scale (!!)
Sugar, cups, plates, spoons ect
Milk (We only serve oat)
Due to different aspects, the grounded coffee beans aren't always ready for use in the morning. Make 2 or 3 test coffee’s (staff can drink these) until you have the desired setting. See Coffee manual.
Put out all items, available, that can be sold during the service. Items such as:
Babka
Croissants
Make sure everything is looking nice and appetizing and clean the glass bell jar.
This Deli fridge is our main Take away selling point. Refill the smallbites and prep more if needed.
Refill small bites
Pickled veggies
Small limonana and ice tea bottles
Fresh Mint
Kombucha
Milk for coffee
Please don't use it as a fridge for big bottles of limonana ect.
The dishwasher should be drained and cleaned at night. This all to avoid smell and take care of our appliances. Turn it on in the morning and leave it to fill and heat up, so it’s ready to use during service.
If needed, use a dishwasher tablet. You can find these tablets with the other cleaning products.
Make sure to communicate with the kitchen on time in case products were sold out the evening before or still need to be prepared. This to avoid any miscommunication with our guests (eat-in and online) during service.
